CLARK donates paw printed pallet jack to benefit Humane Society

CLARK Material Handling Company introduced its Paw Printed Pallet Jack, a pallet truck that is being donated to the Lexington Humane Society in support of its annual Beastie Ball silent auction. The auction raises money for the care and feeding of 700 animals at the shelter, as well as other animal-related services. CLARK also has supported the organization by sponsoring its annual Mutt Putt Golf Scramble, and CLARK employees have volunteered at many local events. 

CLARK  employees oversee the work of the company's Corporate Donations and Philanthropy Committee. CLARK's mission is to build the best forklift in the world while also making it a better place.

Lexington, KY – November 19, 2009  - CLARK Material Handling Company, a supporter of many community outreach programs and nonprofit organizations including the Lexington Humane Society, is proud to introduce its  Paw Printed Pallet Jack.  This  pallet truck is being donated to the Lexington Humane Society in support of its  annual Beastie Ball silent auction to raise money for the  care & feeding of  the  700 animals currently at the shelter.  In addition, the shelter provides spay/neuter surgeries to families that otherwise cannot afford to alter their pet, provides shelter to thousands of homeless animals, and provides necessary medical care from an on-site, full time veterinarian.  In addition to donating the Paw Printed Pallet Jack, CLARK has supported the organization by sponsoring its  annual Mutt Putt Golf Scramble, and CLARK employees have volunteered at many local events.

Clark holds new dealer conference

Last week, 31 people representing nine dealerships from across the US attended Clark Material Handling’s new dealer conference. According to Scott Johnson, director of dealer services, the idea was to focus on developing the core skills required to be a Clark professional. The three-day agenda included sessions on new equipment sales, service, and aftermarket parts operations. In addition to classroom time, attendees participated in practical labs using forklifts to work through real world situations.

CLARK Material Handling Company announced on September 1, 2009 its Great Trade-In Cash-Back Event as part of its dealer and customer Stimulus III package of programs to provide value in this challenging economic environment. This program offers customers $2,000 guaranteed as trade in value or as a check when they trade in their used forklifts (either CLARK or competitive units) to a participating CLARK dealer on any NEW IC or electric CLARK Rider Truck with capacity of 5,000 lbs or higher.
