Position Objective/Summary:
The Product Marketing Coordinator position will provide marketing support to all areas of the Sales & Marketing functions within the company, in promoting the sale of CLARK Material Handling Company products. The incumbent must have a strong marketing background and be an effective product marketing advisor and product advocate for all CLARK products. Position will also be a key marketing resource for all products to the sales force. Position duties will include performing Marketing research on competitive comparisons, working with design team on advertising campaigns, assisting the National Sales Manager with marketing programs and their promotion and measurement of programs, direct customer campaigns, parts promotion and campaigns, and brand marketing.
Essential Duties:
·Will be responsible to perform marketing research on competitive comparisons, tocreate and deliver presentations on the findings.
·Responsible to develop, formulate and execute strategic marketing plans for a productor product line through market research, competitive analysis, dealer and customerengagement, and business planning.
·Assist in developing National and Global Ads to promote forklift and parts salesefforts
·Work with various levels in the organization in assisting with various initiatives,projects and tasks to promote CLARK Brand image
·Assist in developing various marketing and parts merchandising programs and promotingthem
·Responsible for providing technical services and resources to promote productmarketing and material development for feature benefit brochures.
·Will be responsible to conduct side by side comparison analysis on CLARK products vs.major competitor’s products by models on an ongoing basis.
·Perform Analysis on CLARK products to define feature advantage benefits
·Will provide support to the CLARK design team, engineering department and Sales teamas needed on various tasks and projects.
·Will provide marketing information and assistance in the development and productionof model feature brochures which requires working closely with engineering and designteams.
·Coordinate the production of sales and marketing brochures to assist the RSM’s ,dealers and other sales teams in promoting and selling CLARK products.
·Responsible to assist the design department in the coordination and development ofvarious product training videos.
·Responsible for the development and delivery of product demonstrations to potentialcustomers, dealers and at various type trainings as needed
·Will assist RSM, dealers and other sales personnel in making sales presentations andsales calls to potential customers to promote CLARK product as needed an on a prioritybasis.
·Will provide marketing assistance to customers, sales force, dealers, and internalemployees as needed to resolve issues and help them better understand our products.
·Development of products flyers to assist dealers and field teams for sales blitzesand other related sales strategies
·Will be responsible to coordinate various types of trainings, and assist with salestraining of field personnel and dealership personnel
Job Qualifications:
·College degree in Marketing, business or Economics, with previous marketingexperience in the material handling or heavy equipment industry. Previous Marketingexperience is required.
·Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft office programs as well efficientknowledge of Photoshop, Acrobat, Freehand; QuarkXPress; or related software.
·Strong business acumen and advanced presentation skills
·Must have advanced communication skills both orally and written with all levels ofpersonnel within the organization and dealerships to deliver technical and otherinformation.
·Product knowledge of CLARK and competitor aftermarket parts and general sales andmarket knowledge of the forklift and material handling industry is preferred.
·Team player with proven relationship building skills and influence without authority
·Self Starter with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, stay organized andcomplete tasks within specific timelines
·Must be able to establish and maintain dealer confidence.
Uses good judgment, has a high level of professional and ethical conduct
